I made an attempt at blogging in late 2012 of which turned out to be fairly short lived. I lost my confidence after a series of bad experiences and relationships around me. I recently looked back over what I had posted and realised it wasn't half bad (or that good...) given I had no experience in blogging. We all have to start somewhere, and second chances are commonly associated with the New Year, so I thought I would give this a go again.
This time around I'm going to focus on mainly the positive. I didn't receive any particularly bad feedback, or any feedback at all really, but what I did discover was that I do enjoy writing. When I first started out I was moving onto my second year of A-Levels and, quite commonly amongst 17/18 year olds, I didn't have the thickest skin when it came to judgement. I'm not a particularly outgoing person: I quote enjoy the indoors and familiar people. Maybe even shying away when I really don't need to.
In September 2013 I found myself at university. Four months and one semester later I'm still here and probably undergoing the biggest change I've thrown myself into. I'm trying to transform myself into someone I'm happier to be, and through this morphing outlook I want to start expressing myself. On the Internet. Where people can see. Jumping in at the deep end. Phew.
I'm going to write about things I like, things I don't, what I'm buying (a lot), what I'm doing (not a lot), all that sort of stuff you find on the internet. And I hope someone enjoys it along the way.
